MWC 2022: AmpMe Provides Surround Sound on the Cheap
A surround sound system in my apartment has been a dream of mine for a while at present, only the idea of managing all those wires and space limitations have made it impractical. At one point I tried to gear up multiple Bluetooth speakers around my business firm synced with different devices; one with my gaming PC, one with my notebook, one with my smartphone, and one with my tablet. It's a truly messy affair.
Information technology had been a lackluster effect at best and downright headache-inducing as worst because the music simply didn't sync and at that place was lots of latency in playback.
AmpMe is the app that would have stock-still that. Free to download on the iTunes store and Google Play, it uses Wi-Fi or mobile information to sync your music across multiple devices, provided all of them have the app installed. If the device in question is also synced to Bluetooth speakers, it creates a makeshift audio system.
AmpMe is non a music player on its own and doesn't come with whatever music files. Rather, information technology pulls music from SoundCloud, YouTube, your personal library and most recently (and chiefly), Spotify. The app lets your stream music and take it sync on nearby devices, both iPhone and Android. Even if y'all don't accept Bluetooth speakers, you can use the phones of your friends to amplify the dissonance of music or a video. Most chiefly, your friend's phone doesn't demand to take that music loaded onto their device.
At the demo, the music I listened to transitioned seamlessly and had niggling to no noticeable lag. It too seemed to work on iPhones and Android devices equally well. The interface of the AmpMe app itself also seemed intuitive and easy to use. Now that I have half a dozen Bluetooth speakers (one of them newly caused at MWC), I think I can finally go my environment audio fix.
